South Chick Greenway Dirt Pump Track

Build a dirt pump track beside the South Chickamauga Greenway near Sterchi Farm, giving kids and adults a free, drop-in cycling and scooter course right on the trail network. Pump tracks are rolling circuits of bumps and berms that riders navigate without pedaling, building bike handling skills and confidence. Chattanooga has no public pump track despite a thriving cycling culture. Placing one on the greenway means families can ride to it, use it, and continue their greenway trip — no car required. The dirt construction keeps costs low and allows community build days that create ownership.
