Stringer's Ridge Gravel Trail Entrance from Spears Avenue

A new gravel trail entrance into Stringer's Ridge Nature Preserve from Spears Avenue on the south side, providing direct access for North Shore residents who currently must drive or walk a long detour to reach existing trailheads. The entrance would include a simple gravel path, a trail map kiosk, and a small bike rack. Stringer's Ridge is one of Chattanooga's most beloved urban green spaces, but access points are limited. Residents on Spears Avenue and nearby streets can see the ridge from their porches but face a half-mile walk to the nearest trailhead. This new entrance would serve hundreds of households and reduce trailhead parking congestion.
